Samantha and I designed the final digipak images together today in class using picnik.com, here they are:
Front Cover

We used the "vignette" effect to darken the edges so the focuse is more on Edie and Dylans kiss, emphasising their tragic love and illustrating what Dylan will be singing about on the CD. We also used a "Lomo-ish" effect to brighten it up and a "cinemascope" effect to make it look like they're being being recorded like Edie is all the way through the music video.

This guitar image is actually from our video aswell, where Jack (Dylan) nearly threw it on the ground. We just paused it before he did so we got a clear, full frontal image of the guitar then we blackened out Jack and put our track list next to it; clearly stating this is acoustic music =)
And the rest inbetween:

We used the "Cinemascope" effect again to show Edie is always being recorded and used a "hint" brown effect for the pavement but left the rest black and white to make it link in with the song title "let me paint a picture"; the images are gradually being painted!

We again used the "tint" effect on Samantha's scarf so it looks as if she is gradually getting painted. The red of the scart could also connotate lust and love that is wrapped around Edie and therefore consuming her in a postive way but the red could also represent danger and death which is almost strangling her; something that is inevitable because of the life she led.

This is an image i did for myself and I really just wanted to get a message out to our audience that even though Edie died young, the love that is shown through Dylan singing in the video, will never die out. I blurred the image to make it almost appear dream like and used a heart effect around it to make it clear how much in love Edie and Dylan was.
