Planning- Edie Sedgwick

The other day i was watching "Factory Girl" and got the idea of doing a music video on Edie Sedgwick and portraying her life in it.

What first inspired me was her relationship to Bob Dylan and for him to dedicate two of his songs to her; which were

"Just like a woman"

"Leopard-Skin Pill-Skin"

From these songs, it has inspired us to use Dylan's style of music in our music video to illustrate the relationship between Dylan and Edie.

As we cant use copyright music, we cant use these songs for our video but from researching Dylan's genre of music, we're thinking of a soft rock/country/folk ballet to go with the video. We want it in an acoustic style whereby we would get a male friend of ours to play the role of either Bob Dylan or Andy Warhol (who also had a close relationship with Edie) to sing on their own with just a guitar.
The subject matter must also portray edie's tragic lifestyle, her young death and/or love for her from the men in her life. We want to add happy aspects of her life aswell where she grew independently away from her conventional roots and found fame and become a style icon.
The year the video will be set in 1950's/60's and 70's aswell.

Samantha will be playing the role of Edie and a male friend of ours will be playing the role as either Dylan or Warhol!!!
